Cranford Athletic Turf Fund (CAT Fund)

The Cranford Athletic Turf Fund (the "CAT Fund") is a non-profit, grassroots organization formed to raise the money needed to replace the grass field at Memorial Field with FieldTurf, the same surface that’s been approved or already installed in Clark, Garwood, Westfield, Scotch Plains and other towns in our vicinity.

The CAT Fund Goal: install FieldTurf at no additional cost to Cranford taxpayers.

The CAT Fund includes representatives from the Cranford Soccer Club, Cranford Lacrosse Club, Cranford Schools, Cranford Athletics, Cranford Police Athletic League, Cranford Jaycees, Cranford High School Booster Club, Cranford Baseball & Softball League and other interested parents and parties.

Fields

Please note that CSC receives permits for the usage of the fields from the Cranford Board of Education (with exception to the Unami Park Complex).  It is expected that all teams and visitors to the fields respect the conditions, use sound judgement when the fields usage is questionable due to the weather, and keep the complexes clean.

There is no smoking at any of the fields, and containers are supplied for disposal of trash.  Restroom facilities are provided by CSC during the regular soccer seasons.

The Walnut Ave Complex is strictly a GAME ONLY complex.  Practices are not allowed at this complex.

Scholarships

In addition to the two $500 Scholarships that the Cranford Soccer Club issues each year, Mid New Jersey Soccer Association has their own scholarships available.  Click on continue to learn more:
