The Intercounty Youth Soccer League (ICYSL) is a limited-travel, competitive recreation league made up of teams from 22 towns surrounding or near Cranford, providing the opportunity for non-travel soccer players to participate and develop their skills in a competitive environment. A few towns included in the ICYSL are: Westfield, Scotch Plains, Roselle, Kenilworth, Rahway, Clark, Summit, Springfield, Mountainside, New Providence, Plainfield and South Orange / Maplewood.
Over 100 teams play in the U-10, U-12, U-14 and U-17 Boys and Girls divisions. All Intercounty teams are recreational teams, which means, everyone who signs-up plays, and everyone must play at least half of each game.
Starting Fall 2010 the CSC “U-10 Recreational” program has been absorbed by the Intercounty program, allowing 3rd-4th graders to play in the U-10 Intercounty League.
3rd Grade and Higher players choose either Intercounty Soccer (open registration) or Travel Soccer (tryouts and fall/spring commitment required)
