Dear Cranford Soccer Club Parents,
As of this morning, you can begin registering your children for the upcoming Fall 2012 / Spring 2013 travel soccer program tryouts. Tryouts are open to all resident U9 – U14 girls and boys. Typically, tryouts are for kids currently in 2nd grade going into 3rd grade in the fall plus up to and including kids entering 8th grade in the fall. As a reminder, our new partnerships with USA Sports Group and DTS will take place in time for the upcoming fall season. We strongly believe that the foundation of every team is the families of our players and the parent coaches who give freely of their time. Every team and coach approaches the year and training a little differently. With the introduction of baseline training and professional trainers, we strive to standardize the level of training in order to offer the highest value to the players and take advantage of our negotiating power for the families. These changes will come with challenges but overall we believe the player experience is richer, more consistent, and ultimately, better, under this new program. DTS U9-U11 teams and USA will handle the U12-U14 teams.
So instead of having trainer fees paid by each team to the trainers, everything will be run through CSC. As such, fees for the upcoming season will be due as follows:
· Payment #1: $10.00 non-refundable tryout fee – Due Immediately
· Payment #2: $298.00 travel soccer fee payable within 48 hours of your receiving notice of placement on a team, estimated to be June 1st, 2012
· Payment #3: $298.00 travel soccer fee payable on September 1st, 2012
After accessing the registration page, please setup a new account with Blue Sombrero, register your child(ren) in the system, and make your $10 tryout fee. At the end of the process, you will also be able to make a donation to the club with your credit card, which will greatly help with the club’s current fundraising efforts. Keep in mind your online donation is 100% tax deductible and would be a big help to our overall mission!

The first email will be sent once you have completed the first page of registration (setting up a parent account), and will include your username and password for your records. The second email will be sent upon completing the actual registration for your child(ren), and will be sent as soon as you submit your order and payment online. The second email will serve as your online receipt, and will include all of the details of your order, including the Program Name, Division Name, Order Number, and Payment Amount.
